Fast food cook, or chef…Does location matter?

Did you know that even though there is a massive shortage of cooks and chefs in Australia, the Department of Immigration and Border Protection do not allow businesses that operate in a food court the ability to sponsor and employ cooks or chefs on a temporary 457 visa.
This is having a negative impact on many businesses such as Mervin Joshua's Logical Indian, located in the David Jones food court in Rundle Mall, Adelaide, who is struggling to find experienced Indian chefs to work in his kitchen.
