Milap Gohel learnt the tailoring trade from his father growing up in India.
Soon after coming to Australia with his wife in 2009 on a student visa he realised he could apply for permanent residency as a skilled tailor.
In 2014 along with his business partner he started Hem Express, a clothing alteration business, and then Knightsman Bespoke Tailors.
Milap is now facing challenges with his growing business and not being able to keep up with the growing demand and workload.
He needs to hire more skilled Tailors but there are very few left in South Australia and the waiting time for a skilled tailor from overseas is 23 months.
