Mark questioned why 2014 was the first time South Australia had reached its skilled migration nomination quota. While he was pleased SA had finally used its full allocation of nominations made available, he raised the point that more detail was needed to determine how beneficial these figures really were to the state’s economy. He queried whether the nomination quota were highly skilled migrants from overseas, or simply an increase in international graduates.
