Vanessa De Pretis

Vanessa leads our Family and AAT team at Migration Solutions, as Immigration Manager, and is a registered Migration Agent. She specialises in family visas and migration appeal process, proactively managing client cases.

She enjoys supporting clients to migrate to Australia and finds it rewarding when she and her team secure a successful outcome for clients, who are sometimes on their last chance to achieve their dream of remaining or arriving in Australia.

Since beginning work in the migration industry in 2010, Vanessa has continually expanded her skill set. She consults in all types of family-based visas, including Partner, Parent and Carer visas.

With each client introducing unique circumstances, Vanessa’s qualifications in international studies assists her to relate to a broad range of clients and situations.  She is particularly adept at addressing complexity and setbacks, being our leading consultant in preparing cases for the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) and requests for Ministerial Intervention.

Vanessa’s personal passion for independence and successful outcomes has spread throughout her team.  She has established a support network that extends into the community, assisting individuals and families through what can be a very unnerving process of visa approval and settlement into the community. In particular, Vanessa performs pro bono work with the Cancer Council, Gay and Lesbian Immigration Taskforce and JusticeNet, to further support these ideals.  Her personal satisfaction of realising a client’s ambition to stay in, or migrate to, Australia is immense.
