Whoever said love doesn’t cost a thing hasn’t seen the increases to partner visas for the 2015/2016 financial year.
Australians who marry a foreigner overseas will now be hit with a 50 per cent increase in partner visa application fees, which began on July 1.
The cost has risen from $4,630 to $6,865.
