Migration Solutions partners with Legacy Esports

We are delighted to announce an agreement to partner with Legacy Esports to assist some of the highest ranking players to join the sport in Australia. Legacy Esports, owned by Adelaide Football Club, is a professional electronic gaming organisation that fields gamers competing in the League of Legends Oceanic Pro League (OPL), as well as CS:GO, Rocket League, Smash, Starcraft and SMITE competitions.

“We have supported many sporting teams across Australia – and internationally – with their requirements for international sporting talent, and are pleased to extend our service into the professional gaming industry with Legacy Esports,” says Mark Glazbrook, Founder and CEO of Migration Solutions.

Adelaide Crows Chief Operating Officer Nigel Smart said Legacy Esports is pleased to have an agreement with Migration Solutions.

“Migration Solutions offers an extensive range of services to assist in the preparation and lodging of our visa applications for sporting talent, as well as ongoing assistance and support where needed,” Smart said.

With the growing interest in esports across the globe, immigration applications for esports talent into Australia is very likely to increase, as will the importance of getting specialised migration advice.  Migration Solutions will assist Legacy Esports with a range of sports visa and migration needs for coaches, analysts and future players.

The partner agreement kicked off by obtaining a sports visa for Legacy Esports new League of Legends player Min ‘Mimic’ Ju-Sung.  Mimic, a Korean national, has played in Europe, at challenger level in Korea and as a sub for South Korean team, KT Roster. With his Australian sports visa secured by Migration Solutions, he can now play for Legacy Esports, firstly against Avant Gaming in the Oceanic Pro League.
