IMMIGRATION Minister Peter Dutton has given his approval of the controversial billboard featuring two young Muslim girls wearing hijabs. In an interview with 3AW, Mr Dutton described the billboard as “great”, saying Australians should not be offended by the hijab or headscarf if they see it in public.
“I ALWAYS wanted to work in areas of social justice and I have long been a great believer in that notion of ‘thinking globally and acting locally.’” says Paris, one of Australia’s leading advocates for refugees. “I still use that principle as a basis of making a contribution.”
